First, I want to thank those of you that have been following me since 2013, or before. It has been an amazing three years of growth.
Facebook reminded me of the above picture last week from 2013 (on the left). Many of you remember this woman, and have followed my journey to becoming the strongest version of myself...which you now see in the picture from this month (on the right).
Some of you have recently joined my list...via a prompting by an advertisement you saw at a Kansas City area DMV. That ad space is a thank you gift from a client of mine...who wanted you all to be introduced to me. I am very glad you are here.
I’ve been quiet since January, after my successful (re)launch of Mai Trainer. I received more attention than I imagined, and I was not yet able to handle the sudden influx that my online presence created.
Last month, I launched my personal website, and explained my absence here.
I have been working on a large corporate project. I just got out of the first planning meeting this afternoon.
I never anticipated that I would enter corporate wellness. I certainly never imagined I would be on a leadership team set to help retain client’s employees, with MaiTrainer.com as the tool.
But this is where I am headed...and where I have been called.
So the answer is, I am not physically going anywhere...but slowly but surely, you will see me automating more and more of my business, and creating online programs.
This means you will start hearing from me more often, as I now have more true online resources to consistently share with you.
However, my private personal training availability will be changing.
Going forward, I will accept only 4 clients at a time..and those clients will be asked to commit to spending an entire year with me. I only have 2 spots left (on Saturday), at Body Solutions in Overland Park, KS.
For almost 2 years now, I have been the Fitness Center Director for the Sulgrave Regency on the Country Club Plaza, in Kansas City, Mo. They provide a salary (and benefit package) for me that rivals any non-profit Fitness Director position in the Kansas City area. This has provided great security for me, (as a single mother of a 4 year old).
I have grown to love the residents there. It has been a blessing to serve them. They have showered me with support of my online business. I have never been in an environment with so many professionals looking to share me with their networks. It has been very valuable to my growth.
I am currently undertaking the complete upgrade of the strength equipment in their fitness center. If you are looking for a beautiful place to live, one of the benefits is that I am there to design your 8 to 12 week program, and supervise you during the week. This where I currently spend 30 to 35 hours of my time.
My goal is to reach as many people as I can. Kansas City is my first focus...the online world is next.
I hope you would continue following me.
I have so much to share with you.
Thank you for your love, and continued support.
I promise you will hear from me soon. :)
